Introducing Vandor News

Vandor now has a dedicated news surface at /news.

This is where we want to publish the updates that belong close to the work itself:

• company announcements
• release notes
• product direction notes
• progress updates tied to the tools we maintain

vx documentation still belongs in /vx/latest/docs. That surface answers how to use the product. Vandor News is for everything that explains what changed, why it matters, and where the work is going.

What belongs here

The bar is simple: if a piece is a direct update on what Vandor is shipping or changing, it belongs in News.

That includes:

• launch posts
• release narratives
• product direction notes
• company updates tied to the work

What does not belong here

We do not want to turn News into a second docs tree or a general essay archive.

That means detailed CLI references, step-by-step setup instructions, versioned documentation, and broader technical essays stay elsewhere.

Why this matters

A lot of teams only ship two kinds of pages:

• a polished marketing page
• a reference-heavy docs site

That leaves no room for straightforward updates that explain intent without turning into product docs.

News gives us a place to publish clear updates about the tools we maintain and the decisions behind them.
